Serving as business facilitator for U.S. minority Firms.”

Innovation, Commerce, Digital Education, Foreign Labor Force, Start UP and Expansion are key goals for the Chamber during 2024. These five priorities drive our work and they’re crucial to our overarching goal of improving the economy for our members, clients, and our nation.

On behalf of the United States Minority Chamber of Commerce (U.S.MCC), it is with great pleasure and immense pride that I extend my warmest greetings . It is both an honor and a privilege to lead this esteemed organization, and I am deeply committed to advancing our mission of “Bringing the World Together.”

The U.S.MCC is compromised as a beacon of trade and investment facilitator in the Americas that is increasingly interconnected and interdependent. Our organization has a rich history of fostering relations through our events, relations and promoting trade. We have come a long way from our humble beginnings twenty five years ago, and today, we are a powerful force for positive change on the international stage particularly with Colombia, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Honduras and next May 1, Argentina.

For the next quarter beginning this April 1, 2024 , we are organizing a strategical plan  in innovation to the region that will help to positioned  the leadership of the United States in the region with U.S. private sectors. One of the priority will be to create an affordable, high-speed broadband that will help farmers and small businesses  in the  rural and disadvantage communities develop cutting edge skills and technologies. Meaningful action to combat poverty and illegal immigration creating prosperity.

Members and partners will be stronger and more diverse doing business at the region through the Chamber. And all the economy of the region will change, especially those that have been historically excluded, will share in our prosperity through U.S. high tech and cooperation. Through collaboration with partners  and the staff of the U.S. Minority Chamber ’s 7 Business HUBs, we have developed an integrated roadmap to succeed to be a business facilitator.

Foster Digital Education Growth. By creating a digital economy that works for all farmers, industries, small-medium size and exporters in the region that will translate short-term growth into long-term prosperity with our members and their counterparts in the region. Once in-a-generation investments in broadband and community,  and digital education development will empower entrepreneurs in all regions. The mission is simple: Create a smart entrepreneurs  that  will align better concept of trade, expansion, and provide the necessary wraparound support so small businesses  can successfully complete their training through the  Innovation in Global Entrepreneurship Education by the Chamber.

The program will be open this June 1, 2024, and expecting to bring more than 2,000 participants from Colombia and Honduras initially. The main goal is established to promote, advance and update knowledge, business, and practice of entrepreneurship in the digital business world.

Our members and partners will be the professors entrepreneurs, innovators , policy-makers and consultants who value knowledge and experience in the global trade gathering international leading minds in entrepreneurship and innovation. The Chamber´s mission is to bring those individual to be more competitive addressing emerging topics in entrepreneurship, negations, social media, artificial intelligence and key points for exports-imports, serving as the vehicle by which the global entrepreneurship ecosystem can work together to share best practices, develop programs and initiatives, and collaborate and assist each other in advancing, strengthening, and celebrating the role of the Chamber  in educating the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.

Another goal is the Workforce Foreign Labor.  The Chamber has the capacity for H2B Visa program allowed by the US. Employers (members only) where the Chamber represented hiring low-skilled temporary foreign workers in non-agricultural, seasonal roles. There are some niche industries in which this program is beneficial for example make a call to large fishing operations, construction projects, hotels, building maintenance  and light manufacturing to match demand.

But H-2B visa holders rarely go to the companies that need them. Instead, many H-2B visa holders end up working for landscapers and jobs that are hardly seasonal. Landscaping, construction, and custodial services gobble up the majority of the capped H-2B visas, forcing out the small number of companies that may actually need them.

Another Goal is the Chamber´s expansion in the region. next May 1, 2024, expecting to open in Argentina and June 15 El Salvador new Business HUBs to gain access to those countries. A Chamber´s Business hub serves as a central point for international activities between our members, such as  export-import, investment, or operate a business through our relocation program . It attracts businesses from U.S. members and partners including foreign members in our locations located in  Colombia, Honduras, Mexico, and Costa Rica plays a crucial role in global economic networks.

I’m proud of this strategic plan and the path it sets for the Chamber without public funding from the U.S Government. By amplifying America’s greatest strengths—our unrivaled innovation, our diversity of talent and communities, and our resilience in the face of unprecedented challenges—we will outcompete everyone., is matter of time.

Be ready of the upcoming development at the U.S, the Women Summit edition #27 where expecting more than 100 high level of entrepreneurs, corporate executives and public officials.
